Two impressive fighters in their respective divisions picked up big wins last weekend and made moves up the ladder.

First, at 2023 PFL 5 on Friday, Larissa Pacheco picked up another first-round finish by making quick work of Amber Leibrock. The 2022 season winner improved to 3-0 this year and secured her spot in the women’s lightweight playoffs. She also climbed one spot to No. 9 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie women’s pound-for-pound rankings.

Then, at UFC on ESPN 25 on Saturday, Arman Tsarukyan dominated Matt Frevola for a unanimous decision victory. The 24-year-old Armenian has won three in a row and is 5-1 in the UFC, with his only loss coming to Islam Makhachev in his debut. He moved up two spots to No. 13 in the lightweight rankings, where he could face some top contenders soon.
