Fortnite fans can enjoy a new season of the popular battle royale game, which introduces a heist theme and a vampire villain. Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4: Last Resort is now live and it features a new battle pass, new points of interest, new items, and more.
The main antagonist of this season is Kado Thorne, a vampire who has taken over the island and filled it with his treasures and minions. Thorne has built three heavily guarded estates: Sanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat, and Eclipsed Estate. He has also claimed Rumble Ruins, Slap Juice factory, and a tower in Mega City as his own.
Players can infiltrate Thorne’s bases and loot his valuables, which include mythic items from previous seasons, such as Midas’ Drum Gun, Ocean’s Bottomless Chug, and Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun. They can also find new weapons, such as the Infiltrator Pump Shotgun, the Scoped Burst SMG, and the Twin Mag Assault Rifle. Additionally, players can use new items like the Business Turret, which transforms from a briefcase to a powerful turret when thrown, and the Heist Bag, which contains various heisting gear like Crash Pad Jr. items, Remote Explosives, and the Rocket Ram.
The new season also brings back some unvaulted weapons, such as the Remote Explosive, Suppressed Sniper Rifle, and Suppressed Pistol. The latter has been reworked and is now fully automatic. Moreover, players can drive the Nitro Fang, a new vehicle that has a special handbrake for making tight turns.
The battle pass for this season offers several skins based on the heist theme, such as a muscly fishstick, a light-fingered cat burglar, and a pizza delivery driver. Players can also unlock new augments that grant them various perks, such as faster swimming, increased shotgun damage, and siphon from snipers.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4: Last Resort is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Android devices.
