Lana Del Rey, the Grammy-nominated singer of “Summertime Sadness” and “Video Games”, has been spotted working as a waitress at a Waffle House in Florence, Alabama.
The pop star, whose real name is Elizabeth Grant, wore the chain’s blue uniform and yellow name tag as she served customers and posed for photos with fans.
It is unclear why Del Rey was at the diner, but some fans speculated that it could be related to a song from her new album, “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.”, which mentions the town of Florence.
Del Rey has been seen around Alabama in recent days, visiting a nail salon and a Starbucks, according to social media posts.
The singer recently performed at Glastonbury Festival in England and is scheduled to appear at several festivals later this year.
