A man from New Jersey was terrified when he spotted what he thought were eight-foot-tall ‘aliens’ in his backyard after hearing a loud noise that sounded like a ‘UFO’ crashing.
The man, who has not been identified, called 911 on Saturday night and reported seeing four ‘creatures’ with long arms and legs that were ‘100% not human’.
He also said he saw a large object that looked like a spaceship with flashing lights.
‘I don’t know what the f— this is, but can you please send somebody over here?’ the man said in the frantic call, which was obtained by NJ.com.
‘I swear on my life, there’s something f—ing here.’
The man said he was hiding in his basement and begged the dispatcher to hurry up.
‘Please don’t hang up on me. I’m really scared,’ he said.
When police arrived at the scene, they found no signs of aliens or a UFO, but they did discover a large party nearby with a DJ who had set up an elaborate light show.
The partygoers told the officers that they had heard a loud bang earlier, which they thought was a transformer exploding.
Police concluded that the noise and the lights had spooked the man and caused him to hallucinate.
‘He was seeing things,’ Sgt. Sean Boag told NJ.com.
‘He was out of it.’
Boag said the man was not arrested or charged, but he was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
‘He was very sincere,’ Boag said.
‘He wasn’t trying to cause trouble.’
