AC Milan continued its impressive start to the Serie A season with a 4-1 victory over Torino at San Siro on Thursday, with Christian Pulisic scoring his second goal in two games for the Rossoneri.
Pulisic, who joined Milan from Chelsea this summer, opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a low shot from the edge of the box that beat Torino goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu.
The American winger was involved in the second goal as well, as he set up Olivier Giroud for a tap-in in the 32nd minute. Giroud, another summer signing from Chelsea, doubled his tally just before halftime with a header from a corner by Brahim Diaz.
Torino pulled one back in the 54th minute through Andrea Belotti, who converted a penalty after being fouled by Fikayo Tomori. However, Milan restored its three-goal cushion in the 71st minute when Diaz scored a stunning solo goal, dribbling past three defenders and curling a shot into the top corner.
Milan is now second in the Serie A table with six points from two games, behind Inter Milan on goal difference. Torino is still looking for its first point of the season after two defeats.
