Manchester City maintained their perfect start to the Premier League season with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Sunday.
The champions took the lead in the 18th minute when Mateo Kovacic curled a superb shot into the top corner from outside the box.
Sheffield United equalised in the 64th minute when substitute Oli McBurnie headed in a cross from George Baldock.
The hosts looked set to earn a point until Rodri scored the winner in the 88th minute with a powerful strike from 25 yards that flew past Wes Foderingham.
It was Rodri’s second goal in as many games, after he netted the only goal in the 1-0 win over Newcastle last week.
Manchester City are now top of the table with nine points from three games, while Sheffield United are still looking for their first point of the season.
