Steve Harvey, the host of the popular game show ‘Family Feud’, had to deal with some embarrassing and shocking situations on the latest episodes of ‘Celebrity Family Feud’. The show features celebrities and their families competing for charity by guessing the most popular answers to survey questions.
On one episode, Harvey apologized to comedian Pete Holmes after his answer to the question ‘Name something you might see in a sexy selfie’ was not on the board. Holmes had said ‘a butt’, which seemed like a reasonable answer, but it turned out that the survey respondents had used different words for that body part, such as ‘bum’ or ‘booty’. Harvey said he was sorry for the confusion and that he would have accepted Holmes’ answer if he had been in charge.
On another episode, Harvey interviewed Sultan AlNeyadi, an astronaut from the United Arab Emirates, who was joining the show from the International Space Station. Harvey asked him if he and his crew watched ‘Family Feud’ up there, to which AlNeyadi replied that they did not have access to it. Harvey then joked that he would send them a DVD of the show, and asked AlNeyadi to name something that floats in space. AlNeyadi answered ‘a satellite’, which was the number one answer on the board.
Finally, on a third episode, Harvey was stunned by the answer of Shannon Beador, a star of ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’. The question was ‘Name something about your man that eliminates him from being the Sexiest Man Alive’. Beador blurted out ‘his penis’, which made Harvey speechless and caused laughter and shock among the other contestants and the audience. Beador later explained that she meant that her man’s penis was too big for him to be comfortable.
Steve Harvey is known for his hilarious reactions and expressions on ‘Family Feud’, but these episodes proved that even he can be surprised by what celebrities say on his show.
